The Pine Tree State might be one of the less populous states in the US, but Maine will always have a demand for great educators and administrators. University of Maine
College of Education and Human Development

The University of Maine is located in Orono, Maine. The College of Education and Human Development at the University offers a wide variety of Masters’s level programs in Education.

Their Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program is designed for graduates of four-year degree programs in liberal arts and sciences. It includes all courses and internships required to for teacher certification in Maine at the secondary level (7-12) as well as for foreign languages (K-12).

The Counselor Education program offers two different Master of Education degrees. The M.Ed. in School Counseling prepares students for certification and careers as school counselors.
