The University of Vermont
College of Education and Social Services

The University of Vermont is located in Burlington, Vermont. The College of Education and Social Services offers a wide variety of nationally accredited Master’s degree programs in Education.

Their Graduate Counseling Program prepares graduates to facilitate change and growth of individuals, groups, and organizations. Students can choose from a Master of Science in School Counseling and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Two degrees are offered in Curriculum and Instruction. The Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) prepares graduates to be licensed to teach in public middle schools and high schools. The M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction is designed to develop additional expertise in particular content areas for educators teaching at the PK-12 levels.

The University of Vermont offers an M.Ed. in Special Education as well as an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Special Education. The degrees prepare graduates to work with students with disabilities.
